This is a Great place to stay
The suite consisted of two large rooms and a deck overlooking a river. The rooms were clean and well furnished. The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a morning breakfast buffet that featured eggs cooked to order along with waffles, pancakes, bacon or sausage, and all the other breakfast items you might want. There was also an evening "hospitality" get-together that offered a different snack each night, along with two free beers or glasses of wine per person.
This facility was within a short drive to Portland and to other attractions.

Wonderful Hotel & Staff
We were pleased with this hotel choice. In town for the funeral of a close family member the hotel offered us a berevement rate. We ended up in a family suite which was larger that a two bed room with a pullout couch and they charged us the same price. On the river, and you can see the freeway but the noise didn't bother us. Breakfast was better than normal hotel fare and they offered free snacks & beer/wine/sodas in the evening. Nice rooms & bed linens. Overall a very good value, but the caring staff is what will make us return.

The best in the west!!!!
My husband and i stay at Oxford Suites on a regular basis (when they are not booked) which is very often. He has frequent surgeries in Portland and we have to come in monthly at least. The reason they are booked is that there is no better value for the price anywhere that I know of. From the front desk personnel (Sandy is exceptional) to the kitchen staff who all go out of their way (we have become personal friends with Melody) we love them all.
I have never had one complaint on any issue while we are there. We have been staying there for at least 4 years and are just thankful to have found our "home away from home" and appreciate all of the added special touches they provide.

Wow...way more than I expected
I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised when my company put me up at the Oxford Suites....they have so much to offer. My favorite was the cook to order eggs and the breakfast :) I also loved the free wireless internet. The manager was incredibly professional, and very sweet as well when she was explaining restaurants in the area. In fact, the whole staff was very accommodating. The pool was great...loved the steam room. I would definitely stay here again :)

Great Staff and Loved the PERKS!!!
I wasn't expecting alot because I wasn't familiar with Oxford Suites. We have stayed at 3 different hotels on the way to Cali and the staff was great with all of our requests and the breakfast was free full buffet with eggs to order every morning and we got 2 free beers at night :) We also used their jacuzzi to relax which is over looking the river. There was also free WIFI. I will look for an Oxford Suites for sure from now on.

Our next trip to Portland will include a stay here again!
This hotel exceeded all of our expectations, from the location, to the staff and the service that they provided. The room was large, and very comfortable. We liked the homey feel of the area. The staff was extermely helpful and knowlegeable. We liked the convenience of having Safeway sharing the parking lot. The breakfast was hot, and the staff was always friendly. The proximity to shopping and restaurants was excellent.

We will stay here again
We were very pleased with this hotel. It was super convenient - there is a Safeway in the same parking lot. It was quiet and clean. We will definitely stay here again on future trips to visit family in this area.

Great place to stay without paying a fortune
Our last two stays have been very good. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Very nice setting, great access to food store, real breakfasts are served and good happy hours. What else can one asked for at this price.

Great place for families
The breakfast and evening reception were great, the kids loved the pool. Great location close to shopping. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. We will definitely chose this hotel again.

Nice rooms overlooking the Clackamas River
Conveniently located off the 205 Fwy overlooking the Clackamas River. The beds are comfortable and room is clean. Complimentary breakfast was wonderful and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Close to grocery store and a coffee house which was very handy. This was our 2nd time staying here and look forward to staying many more times.
